Annabelle Smith is one #girlboss you want to know. Founder of start-up, Social Playground, Annabelle and her team spend their days bridging the gap between the online and offline worlds through live digital experiences. Working with the likes of Topshop, Westfield, Optus, LVMH, MYER and many more, Social Playground boasts an enviable client list and involvement in the most exciting consumer and corporate events happening around Australia. Partners in London, Singapore and New Zealand drive the hashtag fun even further, activating Social Playground's products at events around the world.
It hasn't always been snapchats and Instagram filters, with Annabelle starting out her career in experiential marketing before dabbling in fashion PR. This eventually led to a stint in New York where Annabelle worked for a top social media marketing agency leading Social Media Strategy and blogger partnerships for Nine West, Estée Lauder and Roxy.
Upon returning to Australia, Annabelle launched Social Playground with the company's hero product, a Live Instagram Printer. Two years on and Annabelle now oversees a team of 3 full time staff, over 30 event staff and 4 international outposts who drive consumer engagement at up to 50 events per week.
Annabelle is passionate about small business and entrepreneurship. She is actively involved in the CoSydney Coworking Space where she and her team share an office.
